Join us for an important training event! On July 9, 2025, Clay County Emergency Management, along with Fire Rescue and the Sheriff’s Office, will host a large-scale exercise at the Clay County Fairgrounds (Cattleman’s Arena). This simulation of a public event will help our responders train for real-world scenarios—and we need your help to make it realistic.
As a role player, you’ll simulate being part of the crowd, reacting to the scenario as it unfolds. Some volunteers will act as “injured” attendees, lying on the ground with moulage (makeup to simulate injuries) and interacting with Fire Rescue teams for practice. It’s a chance to support our responders while seeing emergency response in action.
