Who We Are

The Clay County Florida Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is the central hub for coordinating emergency response and management efforts in Clay County during times of disaster. The EOC operates as a multi-agency command center, bringing representatives from various departments, organizations, and agencies to facilitate effective communication, resource allocation, and emergency decision-making. It plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of the community by mobilizing and coordinating the necessary response efforts.

What We Do

In blue skies, the Clay County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) focuses on preparedness activities such as developing emergency response plans, conducting trainings and exercises, and coordinating with partner agencies to ensure effective response capabilities.

During a disaster, the EOC activates to a heightened state of readiness, serving as the central command post for coordinating and directing emergency operations, including resource management, communication, and decision-making. After a disaster, the EOC transitions into the recovery phase, working closely with government agencies, non-profit organizations, and community partners to assess damages, coordinate assistance programs, support rebuilding efforts, and provide necessary resources and services to affected individuals and communities.
