Each year, after the Clay County Fair wraps up, they donate hundreds of bales of hay to our sanctuary. We use this gift for both food and bedding throughout the year. There's just one little challenge...we have to load it, transport it (we're just 20 minutes from the fairgrounds) and unload it...and that's where y'all come in!

We'll meet at the Clay County Fairgrounds at the Cattleman's Arena. We'll load approximately 60 square bales onto a flatbed trailer. From there, we'll migrate over to the sanctuary where you'll have the opportunity to feed a few bales to our cows, donkeys, goats and sheep, as well as make some "fresh beds" for our chickens, ducks, pigs and turkeys.

Please Note: Volunteers will initially meet at the Clay County Fairgrounds and must have their own transportation as...once we've loaded hay...we will then travel to the sanctuary. Bottled water and gloves will be provided. We highly recommend wearing long pants and closed-toe shoes.
