Who We Are
Serving a predominantly rural, low-income community since 2019, our program extends beyond nutrition. We provide a holistic support system—including clothing, hygiene products, and shower facilities—to help students overcome the barriers of poverty. Because hunger doesn't stop at the school gates, we also assist siblings not yet enrolled at McRae. Our vision is a school community where no child’s potential is limited by a lack of basic necessities, and where every student feels valued and prepared for success. We started with 5 families in 2019 and now serve well over 30 families every week during the school year.
What We Do
We combat weekend food insecurity and address the essential needs of McRae Elementary students.
