Volunteer: Step Up For Summer Food Distribution - 6/18 & 7/16

Wilkinson Jr High offers a monthly food distribution the 3rd Thursday of each month. During June & June  we begin prepping for the food give away at 9:00am. The food give away begins at 10:00. Volunteers are needed to assemble bags of food. Distribute food at distribution and assist community members with state required paperwork. About This Opportunity: No child should have to wonder where their next meal is coming from, especially when school is out. This summer, you can make a direct, tangible difference in our community! We are looking for passionate volunteers to help us pack and prepare essential nutrition for local students and their families.


By giving just two hours of your time, you'll be helping us build two incredible programs: Weekend Snack Packs: Filling packs with nutritious, protein-dense foods that students can easily take home to stay energized and healthy over the weekend. Family Fuel Boxes: Assembling bi-weekly boxes packed with fresh fruits, vegetables, and wholesome meal staples to ensure families have access to fresh, healthy options all summer long.


It’s fast-paced, high-impact, and a lot of fun! Every box you pack and snack pack you fill helps a neighbor thrive.

By giving just two hours twice a month, volunteers help strengthen food security, reduce hunger, and create a reliable source of support for our community.
