Do you love history and enjoy sharing stories with others? The Clay County Historical Society in Green Cove Springs, Florida is looking for an enthusiastic volunteer  to help guide visitors through our museum and historic exhibits.   What You’ll Do:       • Welcome guests and assist with guided tours       • Share fascinating facts about Clay County’s past       • Help preserve and promote our local heritage  
When: Fridays 10-1 or Sundays 2-5.  *Tours are scheduled outside of these hours on occasion on an as needed basis,— even a few hours a month makes a big difference! Where: Clay County Historical Society Museum at the Historic Triangle, Green Cove Springs   This is a wonderful opportunity for students, retirees, or anyone passionate about local history and community involvement.   Interested? Let’s celebrate 60 years of history — together! The Clay County Historical Society is celebrating 60 years of preserving our local heritage, and we need your help to make this milestone event unforgettable! Our Railroad Festival will bring history to life with trains, reenactors, exhibits, vendors, children’s activities, and community partners - and it takes a dedicated team of volunteers to keep everything on track. Volunteer Opportunities Include:

      •     Event set-up & break-down

      •     Membership & merchandise table

      •     Hospitality & guest services
