Tools Needed:
Work gloves, trimmers, yard tools, weed eaters, loppers, wheelbarrows, pitchforks, and shovels. Label personal tools for easy identification. If you would like to donate tools to Seamark Ranch (especially work gloves) we would be delighted to have them.
Directions
Enter 3631 Seamark Ranch Road, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043 into your GPS. (Avoid searching “Seamark Ranch” as it may provide inaccurate directions.)
- From State Road 16: We are 3.1 miles west of the Penney Farms traffic light and ¼ mile west of Clay County Animal Control.
- From State Road 21 (Blanding Blvd.): We are 2.3 miles east of the intersection, on the left, just past the large powerline towers.
- Travel Times: Beaches: ~1.5 hours | Mandarin: ~45 minutes | Arlington: ~1 hour | Orange Park/Fleming Island/Middleburg: ~30 minutes.
Dress Code
- Wear long pants or conservative-length shorts, closed-toe shoes, and socks. No tank tops please.
- Bring work gloves, bug spray, sunscreen, and a hat.
Lunch
Feel free to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy at the Pavilion after projects conclude at noon. Bottled water will be provided. Seamark staff will be available to share more about the Ranch and give mini-tours.
Community Service Hours
Reports will be available by accessing your account that you used to register for this event. If necessary, I will write a personal email to report hours but it will not have a signature. If a signature is NEEDED please bring you Community Service hours form or letter with you to the event. Students are responsible for completing and submitting them at the event.
