Cultivating Connections was founded at Clay High School with the goal of beautifying Clay County and restoring our environment. The statistics of last year’s hurricane season been record-breaking in Florida, leaving Floridians devastated, and this resilience and adversity has inspired us to create this service organization. We use these challenges as motivation to continuously expand our objectives. Additionally, our project draws inspiration from our State Activity: Keeping Florida Beautiful. At Cultivating Connections, we are planting more than just native species—we are planting seeds of innovation, partnership, and leadership for a thriving future.
What We Do
Cultivating Connections is a service project initiated to enhance the environment and strengthen community stewardship. Through efforts like planting native species, removing invasive plants, and promoting environmental education, you can learn the about the power of uniting people around a shared purpose. Seeing how small actions could inspire collaboration across social and cultural divides has motivated us to expand this service initiative into a full-fledged service organization.
